Does GER activate automatically? Is Gio MFTL? If neither of those are true then Z speed blitz the crap out of him... Z could kill Gio before Gio even thinks to activate GER. I don't read Jojo so if my observations are incorrect just ignore me haha

Speed is irrelevant for GER.
GER doesn't need Gio to activate.
Just answering those questions.

Ger exists outside the concept of time so it's speed is infinite and yes it is automatic GER is the ultimate counter
